THICKER THAN BLOOD Trade Paperback

The THICKER THAN BLOOD comics are a three-issue series, written by Simon Reed, penciled and inked by Mike Ploog and painted by Simon Bisley. The partnering of Mike and Simon made for a truly unique collaboration, and these comics were an ideal subject matter for them. This 72-page trade paperback collects the entire three-issue series originally released in 2008-2009.

THICKER THAN BLOOD is the tragic tale of two brothers on a trek across Scotland who find themselves faced with more than just a stroll through the Highlands. 

After traveling for miles lost in the mist, they chance upon shelter, not knowing what lies before them. The darkness descends and the moon rises, an invitation for all manner of creatures. With that, the brothers, in the wrong place at the wrong time, have their lives changed forever. The human spirit is thicker than blood, and this is their story!
